Senior / QA Engineer

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

He/She will be responsible for the full spectrum of the Company’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions to oversee all equipment buy-off (IBO and CBO) requirements as well as to manage internal and externally driven CARS to ensure timely closure and response. He/ She will also review and update all related QA process/systems and operations work flow and spearhead improvement initiatives to drive performance beyond mere conformance to standards. This will include driving quality performance of the supply chain and overseeing supplier quality audits and qualification ( or re-certification) of existing as well as new vendors at site to support the Company’s Supply chain development efforts. Compilation of weekly/monthly QA reports

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Possess a Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Production/Mechatronics Engineering, At least 5years related QA working experience in a manufacturing environment

• Good knowledge of metrology requirements with teaching skills (using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height & Depth Gauge, Profile Projector, Gauge Block and Smart Scope, etc)

• Strong problem-solving techniques (e.g. 8D discipline, FMEA, QC Tools on Analysis of datas, etc)

• Good written and verbal communication

• Have a penchant for details and strict with documentation and specification compliance

• Independent and initiative to develop and drive quality improvement programs

• Ability to work as a good team player
