Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Wholesales
• Position Title: QA cum Lab Assistant/ Lab Assistant
• Working Location: Loyang
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6.15 pm; One Saturday in a month (9 am – 12.30 pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $2500 + Lunch provided + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain technical documents (COA, MSDS, Specs etc.) for production lots
• Prepare and maintain documentation records of Food Safety Quality Management system documents for our factory
• Prepare and maintain samples of incoming new samples for sensory evaluation and record evaluations
• Maintain updated record of lab samples
• Prepare samples for outgoing production sensory QA and submit the sensory report (for specific products)
• Prepare and send samples for external lab or customer testing
• Perform lab testing e.g. pH, density (for specific products)
• Support lab testing operations and maintain laboratory equipment
• Weighing, mixing of ingredients for sample preparation
• Perform other tasks, roles or projects by superiors assigned from time to time
• Maintain lab housekeeping cleanliness standards, observe safety requirements and Good Laboratory Practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
• Experience in lab environment/ quality control systems would be a bonus
