About the Job:

• 2 years contract duration

• As a Product Security R&D Engineer at Keysight Technologies, your main responsibility will be collaborating closely with the Product Security team to incorporate secure development methodologies into all our products and services. This includes working with embedded Windows and Linux platforms across various operating systems. The objective of our Product Security Programs is to guarantee that all Keysight products meet the necessary government security standards and requirements before they are shipped out.

About the Team:

• The Product Security Team is an R&D team dedicated to enhancing the security standards of Keysight products, ensuring they are safe and secure for our final customers. This team, established in Singapore in 2017, is the sole R&D security team within Keysight. Their primary objective is to continually improve the security baseline of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product development teams throughout the different stages of the development lifecycle to integrate product security requirements using Keysight’s Windows and Linux platforms.
• Conduct product security assessments by utilizing tools such as composition analysis, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and fuzz testing. Additionally, provide assistance to development teams in devising strategies for addressing and mitigating identified vulnerabilities.
• Develop and/or suggest the usage of tools provided by third-party vendors to assess the security posture of our products in accordance with recognized industry standards.
• Gain comprehension of and implement the product security programs across all operating system (OS) platforms utilized by Keysight’s products.
• Collaborate closely with internal design teams to identify and tackle strategic technology development and business development opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience with security technologies

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in software development using C/C++, java script & python programming languages.
• Good understanding of common application & network protocols, cryptographic technologies, common security threats found on common OS-designs, including Linux, Windows, mobile platforms.
• Strong interest in SW engineering, security application development & security assessment.  Ability to execute in dynamic and highly technical organizations.
