Sustainability Project Assistants

We are recruiting full-time and part-time (up to 30 hours per week) Project Assistants for roles on sustainability focused projects from January – March 2022.

Climate change and sustainability have quickly become a priority for many governments and institutions across the globe. Oliver Wyman has deep experience in this area and has gained leadership especially in the Green Finance space.

We are supporting a number of financial institutions in building their strategies to manage the risks climate change is creating for them, building their strategies to tap into the opportunities, and building roadmaps for them to support the Global Net Zero transition.

Your role in these projects will entail:

• Supporting analysis required to define metrics and emissions targets for key industries in order to determine what it takes to get the world to Net Zero

• Conducting analysis and problem solving to stress test the bank’s portfolio, leveraging Oliver Wyman’s industry-leading methodologies and tools

• Participating in developing Oliver Wyman’s strong knowledge base on sustainability by understanding industries’ sensitivity to climate change

• Contributing to the preparation and format of materials to the client, their senior management or Board

• Working with colleagues and partners from different regions to deliver client impact

In addition, you will get the opportunity to work with some of the largest corporate champions on the topic of sustainability, getting a bird’s–eye view of how the largest institutions and governments are helping solve some of the biggest problems in this domain.

Who Can Apply

Our Sustainability Project Assistant role is open to students and recent graduates (those graduating between 2021 and 2023). We look for people who display initiative, intuition, and creativity with a strong problem solving and analytical mindset. We do not require specific academic majors or industry experience and look for diversity of experience and skills. We value extracurricular activities and evidence of leading an interesting and impactful life outside of your studies. Any prior experience on topics of sustainability & green finance is not mandatory but will provide an added advantage from a content perspective.

Language requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
