Job Responsibilities: As a Visionary • Understand the vision of IT, translate it into deliverables and objectives, and deliver them within defined timelines • Engage with CxOs, understand their business problems and propose/implement solutions in collaboration with Central IT • Continuously identify business improvement opportunities that can be achieved through technology, obtain support from stakeholders and implement the sameUsing Team Management, Stakeholder Management and Interpersonal Skills • Identifying, in discussion with country head / business and Central / Region IT improvement initiatives and new projects for the short and long term • Engage with business to understand business pain points and get buy in from business on technology linked solutions • Manage the recruitment, training, appraisals and workload of local IT resources in delivering IT infrastructure and support to the country team • Work with Central IT or external consultants in delivering business objectives • Articulate and regularly communicate benefits arising out of IT initiatives • Ensure adequate governance on IT initiatives and escalate before delays or issues occurIn Infrastructure and Security • Manage the local network and connectivity for optimized efficiency and costs • Enhance the IT security and governance framework for Non-Central IT controlled systems Manage user access to IT systems • Implement controls to protect IT assets of the organization • Implement processes to manage and control procurement of IT AssetsIn System Support • Identify core team members within business and enable continuous training to ensure continued IT system usage • Act as the first point of contact for resolving IT issues • Liaise with Central IT on escalated issues in resolving the sameTo Monitor and Report • Monitor and report on all initiatives and projects for the business • Measure and report on continuing business benefits from initiatives implemented • Track continuous usage of IT systems and functionalities implemented, report on the same and take corrective action where required • Engage, Measure and Report on specific organization wide initiatives like improving data entry lag, paperless, cashless etc.In Digital Initiatives • Support rollout of relevant digital initiatives for the business • Integrate digital initiatives with core ERP solution (SAP) for optimum benefitsIn Budgets and Cost Control • Assist in preparation of Annual country IT budgets and monitor actual costs to be in line with budgetsRequirements: Degree in business administration, information systems, computing studies, IT or any other related fields. Knowledge of programming languages would be an added advantage however not mandatory 10-15 years of experience with SAP ERP and CTRM background Have proven experience in handling and managing a team of 8-10 members spread across geographical locations Proven ability to work independently and as a team member Communicate professionally and effectively at all organizational levels Highly motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision in a highly competitive environment. Ability to engage with senior Business stake holders Ability to lead a team discussion and to communicate with team based across the globe Good communication in English (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills Should be comfortable in travelling as this role would require international travel for 25% of the time
