The organisation is a major player in the commodities trading industry. They are looking for a Financial Accountant to support their evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the financial accounting process and control environment. This includes being responsible for leading and guiding junior analysts/executives, the data integrity and timeliness of financial data to support strategic decision making, and ensuring that the financial data and processes are compliant to internal and external financial policies and regulations. As the organization expands and evolves, you will also be involved in special projects in support of automation and growth initiatives.

Due to the size and scale of organisation, there are significant number of opportunities and proven internal mobility to the business partnering team.

Requirements

You are a qualified CA with at least 7 years of experience, ideally gained as a Financial Accountant/ Trade Accountant. Familiarity with commodities accounting is critical for success in this role.
