Position Summary

The role coordinates the production of Bid and Contracts responses, requests for proposals responses, and other sales pursuit documentation, primarily for the APAC/ME regions (both new business and existing client retention)

Functions and Responsibilities

Operational
  • To support the Senior Management Team in the development and execution of support materials for the end-to-end sales process, including proposals, tenders and presentations for:
  • Allied Pickfords
  • SIRVA Relocation
  • SIRVA Move Management
  • To maintain knowledge base required to support development of current, accurate representation of SIRVA’s business
  • Ensure spread of best practice and efficient use of resources/material across APAC/ME and globally
  • Development of new responses or materials to accommodate requests for specific information
  • Management and maintenance of the tender bid library ensuring content are reviewed and updated on a regular basis. Provide assistance to the Asia Pacific / Middle East business development team through the provision of this information resource
  • Update the Tender Response directories to reflect new and / or additional contact created from each tender / proposal, ensure all ’standard content’ reflects the company’s current capabilities and any changes over time
  • Manage up to date files for Contracts and Agreements
Administration
  • Coordinate and develop documents, proposals, presentations & tender responses for the APAC/ME region, including the Allied Moving Services and SIRVA Relocation segments, including: arranging strategy meetings, confirm receipt of tenders and answering on going enquiries E2E of the tender process, proof read, amending and prepare documentation for submitting to the highest standard
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience and proven track record in responding to high complexity RFI/RFPs and other sales request
  • Exceptional writing and communication abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Presentation development experience
  • Strong ability to multi-skill and prioritize. Must be able to handle multiple tender responses at the same time
  • Highly developed time management skills. Adept at dealing with deadline pressure & follow up required information
  • Experience in administration duties
  • Ability to deal with wide-variety of people with a large organisation; therefore person should be comfortable dealing with and organising senior managers-with positive outcomes
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in minuting minutes; with actionable outcomes - successfully followed/adhered to by colleagues
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrated ability to draft original written content
  • Experience working with industry-standard RFP database software preferred

  • Tertiary Education - Diploma or higher preferred
